NICK CAVE - B-Sides & Rarities Part II

2021 (Mute)
songwriter

Un magma oscuro e sintetico segnato dalle tragiche vicende personali, correlato dal documentario “One More Time With Feeling“. It’s a long way to find peace of mind, peace of mind…”.

Per il primo abbiamo “First Skeleton Tree” e “First Girl in Amber”, per il secondo “First Bright Horses” e “First Waiting for You” ripulita poi dai rumori in sottofondo. Chiudiamo citando uno stralcio di “Steve McQueen”:

Because someone’s gotta sing the stars

And someone’s gotta sing the rain

And someone’s gotta sing the blood

And someone’s gotta sing the pain

Poiché Nick Cave riesce a cantare tutto questo e molto altro ancora come nessuno.
