From Litfiba to Caparezza: Sherwood Festival returns to Padua

23-05-2026

The Sherwood festival, which, as always, will be held in the car park of Padua's Stadio Euganeo, remains the most prestigious, biggest and most attended indie festival in the northeast.

As in recent seasons, the 2026 line-up also offers a mix of major ticketed events and free-entry or budget-priced evenings.

It kicks off on Wednesday 10 June with Meg and Sarafine (free entry), followed, on 12.06, by Zen Circus with Lamante (€5 admission).

Saturday the 13th is dedicated to extreme metal (a genre the festival has historically explored little), with the “United We Stand” festival featuring Carcass and Fulci, alongside 7 other bands mainly devoted to death metal (entry €60).

Tuesday, June 16th, is the turn of rising star Carola “La Niña” Moccia, with Casadilego opening (€30).

Friday, June 19th, will see two giants of Roman hip hop, Noyz Narcos and Danno, take the stage together with DJ Craim (€40), while the following day local hero Dutch Nazari will perform alongside El Partydo, the alternative project by members of Lo Stato Sociale (free entry, donations welcome).

The following week will be devoted to singer-songwriters, with concerts by Fulminacci (Tuesday, June 23rd – €40), Mannarino (Thursday, June 25th – €45) and Subsonica (Friday, June 26th – €40), before moving on to electronic music on Saturday, June 27th with the “Galactica” festival and to stand-up comedy the next day with Barbascura X.

Tuesday, June 30th, brings what is perhaps the most eagerly awaited event: the date on the celebratory tour for Litfiba's masterpiece “17 Re”, with four fifths of the original line-up (€55).

Moving into July, things kick off on the 2nd with Salmo & Le Carie (€55), followed by Giancane and Zerocalcare on Friday the 3rd and Alborosie on Saturday the 4th (both evenings free entry, donations welcome).

The final stretch brings concerts by Gemitaiz (Tuesday, July 7th, €48), Frah Quintale (Friday the 10th, €40), Cisco (Saturday the 11th, free entry, donations welcome) and, to finish in style, Caparezza (July 12th – already sold out).
