La Niña

La Niña, the alias of Carola Moccia, is a singer-songwriter from Naples, described by Rolling Stone as a hybrid of Teresa De Sio and Rosalìa. Able to blend English, Italian and Neapolitan, together with producer Alfredo Maddaluno, aka Kwsk Ninja, she creates a cutting-edge project that fuses Neapolitan folklore with catchy pop and urban formulas appealing worldwide.

Her debut album "Vanitas" is a journey through Mediterranean melodies, urban sounds, hypnotic lyrics and experimental pop. A voice for female empowerment and deep experimentation, showcasing a unique side of Naples. That same year, she made her television debut as both actress and composer, writing the soundtrack - entirely produced by Kwsk Ninja - for Massimo Ranieri's TV series "La voce che hai dentro", aired on Canale 5. In 2024 she returned to the screen at Sanremo for the cover night alongside BigMama, Sissi and Gaia, in an all-female performance of "Lady Marmalade" that was among the most acclaimed of the Festival, enriched with a verse in Neapolitan.

The single "Guapparìa", thanks precisely to the Neapolitan language and its acoustic sonorities, draws us even further into a world of folk music and tradition. The track preceded the release of her new album, "Furèsta", produced entirely by Kwsk Ninja: a deep, reflective and in many ways disarming journey, representing an intimate yet universal musical inquiry that rediscovers traditional ancestral sounds and renews them with a contemporary language. "Furèsta" won the 2025 Targa Tenco for Best Album in Dialect.
