Mannarino announces new album “Primo amore”: listen to the single “Ciao”. All the tour dates

Five years after his last studio album, Alessandro Mannarino returns with “Primo amore”, out Friday 8 May via Bmg and already available for preorder. The album marks a new phase in his career, confirming a songwriting style rooted in popular imagery yet resistant to the conventions of classic singer-songwriter tradition.

"Primo amore" will be available on all digital platforms and in four physical formats: CD, black vinyl, transparent red vinyl in a Collector's Edition with alternative artwork (limited and numbered edition, exclusive to the BMG/Universal Store), and matte white vinyl, also in a Collector's Edition with alternative artwork (Amazon exclusive, limited and numbered). Discoteca Laziale will also offer standard CD and black vinyl with an autographed postcard.

Previewing the project is "Ciao" (which you can listen to below). The track unfolds over a hypnotic rhythmic backbone, building a recognizable soundscape suspended between urban atmospheres and narrative tension. The lyrics work through images and dwell on a fragility that turns into a form of resistance, while the theme of freedom runs through the song as a key to interpreting the present.

"I've been away, I had to lose myself to get here. I bring you all the love I found on the other side of the sky, love that had always been inside me. Primo Amore comes out in May, but today at 6pm we start with a Ciao!", Mannarino stated.

Tracklist for "Primo amore":

1. Ciao
2. Dammi
3. Maradona
4. Per un po' d'amore
5. Carne
6. Venere
7. Kalanera
8. Bambino

To support the release, the Roman artist will return to the stage with a summer tour produced by Vivo Concerts in collaboration with Concerto Music and VignaPR, with Rai Radio 2 as radio partner.
