After the success of the summer tour celebrating the fortieth anniversary of “17 Re“, Litfiba have added three special club shows to close out the celebrations for one of the defining albums of their career. Piero Pelù, Ghigo Renzulli, Antonio Aiazzi and Gianni Maroccolo will take the stage in November and December for three concerts in Milan, Venaria Reale and Rome.
The “Quarant'anni di 17 Re – Tour 2026” sold out 12 of its 20 dates, with more than 150,000 tickets sold overall. The band has now decided to give themselves one last run on stage, this time in clubs, bringing “17 Re” back to a more intimate setting.
Tour dates
November 27, 2026 – Milan, Alcatraz
November 30, 2026 – Venaria Reale (TO), Teatro della Concordia
December 2, 2026 – Rome, Atlantico
Tickets will be available from 10am on Thursday, September 10.
The live album
Alongside the new dates comes the announcement of “17 Re Live. 1986-2026”, a live album drawn from the anniversary tour, out on November 27 on CD and double LP.
Originally released in 1986 as a double album, “17 Re” stands as one of the high points of Litfiba's Eighties output, and the second chapter of the so-called “Trilogy of the Victims of Power”, opened by “Desaparecido” and completed by “Litfiba 3”. It's a record that played a decisive role in establishing the Florentine band both nationally and across Europe, blending rock, new wave and Mediterranean flavors into a formula that was, at the time, almost unheard of on the Italian scene.
Forty years on, “17 Re” still holds a central place in Litfiba's repertoire and in the history of Italian rock, with many of its lyrical themes remaining just as relevant today, and a sound that has left its mark on several generations since.
