Caparezza cancels shows due to health issues

31-03-2026

Caparezza has postponed his scheduled appearances in Modena and Catanzaro following a health issue that emerged in the last few hours. The artist from Puglia will not be able to attend the presentation of the graphic novel "Orbit Orbit", scheduled for March 30th at Arena Spazio Culturale, due to the need to undergo immediate medical checks. The news was announced by the organizers of the "Incontri d'autore" series, who clarified that the event has been postponed to a date yet to be announced and that tickets already purchased will remain valid.

Caparezza himself took to social media to apologize to the public: "I'm sorry, friends from Modena and Catanzaro, but last night I had an issue that requires me to undergo immediate medical checks", asking fans for their understanding.

The event was set to mark the Puglia-born artist's debut in comics with "Orbit Orbit", a project created together with Sergio Bonelli Editore. The book was conceived as a crossmedia work tied to the album of the same name: each chapter engages in dialogue with the songs on the record, building a narrative that weaves together music and visual storytelling.

At the heart of the story is a cosmo-castaway on a journey through the Pathosphere in search of the "Planet of Ideas", in a path that explores identity and creativity. Contributors to the project include Sergio Gerasi, Nicola Mari and Marco Nizzoli, with cover art by Matteo De Longis.
