THE RULES OF THE GAME

Given that film scores are inseparable from the world of cinema, for this chart OndaRock's editorial staff invited its cinematic twin, the Ondacinema staff, to join in the game. The result is what we can proudly call the first cross-editorial chart in our history.
Each participating editor or contributor draws up a list of titles related to the theme, representative of their own point of view. To encourage variety, we only impose a limit of one or two records per band. The lists are collected and the first twenty records mentioned are assigned a score: twenty points to the one ranked first, nineteen to the next, and so on. If a record is mentioned by more than one participant, the points it receives from each are added together. Ranking the titles from the one with the most points downward produces the final chart.
What you're reading, then, is a representation of the convergences and the plurality of views among OndaRock's contributors. It isn't a list drawn up behind closed doors, there are no corrections or backroom quota-fixing. The only agreed element is the set of rules above.
It's a game, and we hope the outcome intrigues readers as much as it did the participants. For those who want to dig deeper, the individual editors' personal charts can be real treasure troves of discoveries. Happy exploring!

At the top we find Simonetti's "Goblin", with their terrifying prog-tinged score married to Dario Argento's horror masterpiece "Suspiria". Next comes Angelo Badalamenti, David Lynch's musical twin, with the iconic and unsettling OST of "Twin Peaks".
Bronze goes to Vangelis's cyberpunk masterpiece, a score inseparable from the dense neon and acid rain of the Dick/Scott-conceived "Blade Runner"
