Sono trascorsi quarant’anni dall’esordio dei CCCP: per festeggiare la ricorrenza è stata allestita una mostra a Reggio Emilia, “Felicitazioni! CCCP – Fedeli alla Linea. 1984-2024”, al momento confermata fino al prossimo febbraio presso i Chiostri di San Pietro, mostra curata direttamente dai ditretti interessati Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, Massimo Zamboni, Annarella Giudici e Danilo Fatur. Fra le numerose iniziative organizzate per ricordare una delle pagine più belle nella storia del rock alternativo italiano, figurano anche la ristampa dei quattro album e dei due Ep incisi dalla band e un box antologico, “Felicitazioni!”, contenente un doppio vinile (distribuito anche da solo), un cd, un booklet di venti pagine, cartoline con immagini rare e foto inedite scattate dal maestro Guido Harari.

Si tratta di una raccolta cronologica di diciotto brani dei CCCP, che chiamare “greatest hits” potrebbe apparire una forzatura, vista la diffusione carbonara che queste canzoni ebbero all’epoca. Ma da quei semi germogliò gran parte della scena alt-rock di casa nostra, scena che avrebbe caratterizzato in maniera determinante gli the Nineties. Non è ad esempio difficile scorgere quanto dalla forza declamatoria di Ferretti attingerà Emidio Clementi per forgiare l’esperienza dei Massimo Volume, oppure quanto i suoni urgenti e underground della formazione emiliana modificarono gli istinti in grado di animare i principali gruppi di frontiera italiani, a partire da quei Marlene Kuntz che proprio i CCCP contribuirono a lanciare verso il successo qualche anno più tardi.

Partiti spediti con il punk filosovietico di “Live In Pankov” e “Spara Jurij” (entrambi nel primissimo singolo), già a partire da “Emilia Paranoica” i CCCP intrapresero un processo evolutivo multiforme, imbastendo tessiture sempre più complesse e articolate e inglobando nel proprio mix gli stili più disparati: dalle influenze mediorientali di “Radio Kabul” e “Palestina” alla mazurca di “Manifesto”, dalla dance robotica che anima “Tomorrow” (ospite Amanda Lear) al dolente tango disegnato in “Amandoti”, fino alla lunga cavalcata “Maciste contro tutti”. “Felicitazioni!” documenta in maniera attenta ed esauriente tale attitudine, che condurrà i CCCP – complici i contributi assicurati dai tanti innesti nella line-up – a produrre il caleidoscopico “Epica Etica Etnica Pathos”, il loro monumentale canto del cigno. Nel 1989 la caduta del muro di Berlino portò stravolgimenti politici che diedero l’assist a Ferretti e Zamboni per cambiare sigla, proseguendo il proprio cammino – tre anni dopo – come CSI, tanto per restare fedeli all’iconografia ex-sovietica. Ma questa fu un’altra storia, altrettanto densa di soddisfazioni, sia per loro che per noi.
