Massimo Zamboni and Giovanni Lindo Ferretti release two albums together

01-10-2026

CSI have just wrapped up the new "journey" that brought them back on stage after 25 years, culminating on September 12 at Villa Bellini, in Catania. But for Massimo Zamboni and Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, their paths, having just crossed again, now go back to running in parallel. And they'll do so symbolically on the very same day: October 9 will see the release of Zamboni's La macchia mongolica and Ferretti's Percuotendo, in cadenza.

La macchia mongolica returns in a new edition on CD, LP and digital, with completely reworked artwork and graphics. This version will also be rounded out by the addition of the track Forme perfette. Alongside Zamboni, Cristiano Roversi and Simone Beneventi took part in the recordings.
Percuotendo, in cadenza, meanwhile, documents the theatrical show of the same name that Giovanni Lindo Ferretti brought to stages across Italy. The recording is now being released as a double CD, double LP and digital edition, transferring to record a project that was born and developed in a live dimension.

Two different releases, then, arriving at the same time after the parenthesis of the CSI reunion: two independent paths that keep meeting without necessarily overlapping.
The two albums will also be presented together. On October 9, Zamboni and Ferretti will appear at the Salone dei Giganti of Palazzo Bentivoglio, in Gualtieri (Reggio Emilia), at 6pm. Admission is free with mandatory booking: bookings on Dice.
La macchia mongolica is already available for preorder, as is Percuotendo, in cadenza.
