RAFAEL ANTON IRISARRI - El Ferrocarril Desvaneciente

2018 (Umor rex)
ambient drone

The four tracks form an unbroken whole of swelling synths, rich with the positive feelings typical of a traveller brimming with hope. An optimism that Irisarri had rarely allowed into his discography before. The most powerful experience is certainly listening to it straight through without interruption, but among the four tracks two longer ones stand out: the opening "Transeúntes" and the closing "La Chica De Valladolid".
