Paul McCartney releases three new tracks: listen to "City Fox", "One Night Stand" and "Chelsea Boots"

Paul McCartney keeps digging into the rich archive of his recent recording sessions. Four months after the release of "The Boys Of Dungeon Lane", which came out last June, the former Beatle has shared three new songs left off the original version of the album: "City Fox", "One Night Stand" and "Chelsea Boots". The tracks, recorded during the album sessions with producer Andrew Watt, are now available in an expanded edition of "The Boys of Dungeon Lane", offering a further glimpse into the British musician's studio work.

The new version also includes a curious reworking of "Home To Us", the duet with Ringo Starr already featured on the album. It's a so-called "flip mix", in which the vocal parts of the two former Beatles are swapped, giving rise to a different interpretation of the song.
The three previously unreleased compositions start from the fifteenth track of the new edition, already available on streaming platforms. A further testament to McCartney's prolific output, as at 84 he continues to enrich his repertoire with new recordings.

The new album

"The Boys Of Dungeon Lane" gathers episodes and images tied to his formative years, with a retrospective gaze that zeroes in on decisive moments in the shaping of his artistic identity. The songs portray Paul in a sincere, vulnerable and deeply reflective light, as he writes with rare candor about his childhood in post-war Liverpool, his parents' resilience, and his early adventures alongside George Harrison and John Lennon, long before the world had ever heard of Beatlemania. Alongside this autobiographical core, there's room for new love songs, a sign of a songwriting approach that still moves between intimacy and narrative drive.
With "The Boys Of Dungeon Lane", McCartney thus returns to territory he has already explored in the past, but with a more explicitly personal edge: a work that weaves together memory and present, positioning itself as one of the most introspective chapters of his recent output.
