Marissa Nadler will return to Europe in February 2027 for a tour that includes three Italian dates: 17 February at Freakout in Bologna, 18 February at the Chiesa Valdese in Rome, as part of the Unplugged in Monti series, and 19 February at Circolo Dong in Macerata. Tickets are already available via the official website. “I’ll be back in Europe in February and I can’t wait to see you all,” announced the American singer-songwriter. She’ll be joined on stage by collaborator Milky Burgess, with whom she's putting together “a really special setlist for this winter tour.”
The return to live performance follows the release of “New Radiations“, her tenth solo album, released on 15 August 2025 via Sacred Bones and Bella Union. Produced by Nadler herself and mixed by Randall Dunn, the record comprises eleven tracks and renews her blend of spectral folk, dreamy atmospheres and dark Americana. Burgess contributes to the instrumental arrangements, between slide guitar, synthesizers and rougher-edged guitars. Among the tracks accompanying the release are the title track, “Hatchet Man” and “Light Years”.
On 7 August, Nadler and Burgess also released a reinterpretation of “Forever”, a Buddy Killen composition also made famous by Pete Drake: a song beloved by both, recovered from a recording begun some time earlier and then reworked. On 2 October came the digital release “Droneflower (Burials)”, featuring the two tracks “Sky Burial” and “Drive It In”: credited to the Droneflower project, which brings together Nadler, Stephen Brodsky and Emily Lee.
