The Cure, Robert Smith puts together a new mix for BBC Radio 6 Music, with Placebo, Bowie, Mogwai and more
14-03-2026
Cure frontman Robert Smith takes over “The 6 Mix” ahead of this year’s “Cureation” shows for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, featuring, among others, Elbow, My Bloody Valentine and Mogwai.
“The 6 Mix” is the new flagship show dedicated to mixes on BBC Radio 6 Music, hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs. Each week Mary Anne Hobbs will present an hour-long mix curated by an icon of electronic music past, present or future: artists, DJs, labels and clubs.
Among those who have made mixes for Mary Anne in the past are Four Tet, SHERELLE, Helena Hauff, Blawan, Goldie, Chloé Robinson, Randall, Pet Shop Boys, Ben UFO, Rainy Miller, EMA, IMOGEN, Richie Culver and Azu Tiwaline.
Here's the link to the show, with the tracklist below.
