Jethro Tull, Pet Shop Boys, Wilco and Caparezza among the stars of the Mantova Summer Festival
30-03-2026
The Pet Shop Boys, announced just today as one of the attractions of Medimex 2026, are also among the headline guests of the new edition of the Mantova Summer Festival, taking place again this summer between Piazza Sordello and the Esedra of Palazzo Te.
In July, the Piazza Sordello stage will host Caparezza, the Pet Shop Boys, LP and Jethro Tull. The latter will also be guests at Pistoia Blues: Ian Anderson and co. will perform in Piazza Duomo for the festival's 45th edition on July 10, 2026. The legendary prog band behind “Aqualung” and “Locomotive Breath” has announced it will carry the “Curiosity Tour” into 2026 as well, to showcase its latest album “Curious Ruminant”.
The schedule continues in August at the Esedra of Palazzo Te with Coez, Mannarino, Fulminacci and Paolo Ruffini's show "Din Don Down". September brings concerts by Wilco and Luca Carboni, plus Enrico Brignano's show "Bello di mamma".
The lineup aims for a broad audience, mixing historic names from Italian and international music with more recent artists. Among them, the presence of the Pet Shop Boys stands out, set to play two Italian live dates over the course of the summer.
