The first half of the day favored emerging artists and projects with less exposure on mainstream TV circuits, while the evening slot concentrated the bigger names, spanning pop, rock and singer-songwriter fare, with several onstage collaborations.

Over the course of the day, more than forty names took turns on stage, mixing established acts with figures from the contemporary scene: from the reunion of Litfiba in their historic 1980s lineup to Riccardo Cocciante, all the way to Fulminacci, Levante, Emma, Madame, Ditonellapiaga, Francesca Michielin and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari.

Among the most talked-about moments, Delia's performance sparked heated debate on social media. The singer performed a version of "Bella Ciao" with a lyrical change — "essere umano" ("human being") instead of "partigiano" ("partisan") — explained as an attempt to extend the song's meaning to current conflicts.

On the staging front, Sayf created one of the day's most memorable moments by directly involving the audience: a giant globe launched into the crowd, accompanied by masked performers, carried the message "The world is yours," turning the audience into an active part of the performance.

Political and institutional references were not in short supply. Levante wore a T-shirt bearing the word "Mattarella" in graphics inspired by Metallica, which quickly went viral online. During Litfiba's set, Piero Pelù voiced support for the liberation of Palestine and recalled the atrocities of Benito Mussolini, calling him "a treacherous, bloodstained man who died on the job".

Throughout the day, Palestinian flags also appeared in front of the stage, while several artists expressed support for the Global Sumud Flotilla, reaffirming the Concertone's role as a platform for social and political issues as well as music.

Among the key moments worth noting was also the 1MNEXT final, won by Bambina. The 2026 edition was built around the theme "Dignified work: bargaining, new protections and new rights for an Italy changing in the age of artificial intelligence," alternating music and reflection throughout the day.
