Giovanni Lindo Ferretti: ahead of the CSI reunion, on stage in Rome with “Percuotendo. In Cadenza”

On February 16, 2026, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome (Sala Sinopoli), “Percuotendo. In cadenza” takes the stage, the new show by Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, accompanied by Simone Beneventi on percussion and Luca Alfonso Rossi on strings. Starting at 8pm.

A year and a half after the sole performance of “Moltitudine in cadenza, percuotendo”, staged at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, the project is reborn in a renewed form. Born at a precise moment, between the two Cccp tours, “Percuotendo. In cadenza” now returns to its original core and unfolds as a touring show, made up of ten dates in Italy's leading theatres. The Rome date is part of this new run.

At the heart of the show are Ferretti's words: poetic, autobiographical texts that follow one another like a continuous narrative, moving through faith, belonging, memory and a return to one's origins. The narration shifts between the public dimension of the stage and the private dimension of life in the mountains, between exposure and withdrawal, between collective history and personal experience.

Word, song and sound intertwine in a form that is essential yet dense. The songs, reinterpreted and rearranged for percussion and strings, work on rhythm and melody, accompanying and punctuating the narrative. The intimate dimension of the story thus opens up into a shared experience, in which the voice becomes sonic body and the music sustains, amplifies, and at times takes over.

Alongside Ferretti, Simone Beneventi and Luca Alfonso Rossi build a decisive musical fabric: a presence that is anything but accessory, capable of nourishing and shaping the narrative flow, to the point of engaging in open dialogue with the words.

"Reading becomes poetry that becomes song to open up to music that grows until it turns back into poetry, and then it all begins again," explains Ferretti, summing up the circular movement that runs through the show.
