Edoardo Bennato returns to the stage with "Quando sarò grande", a series of event-concerts taking him to Italy's major arenas alongside his Be-Band, the Quartetto Flegreo and, at every date except Empoli, soprano Maria Chiara Chizzoni.
The tour – launched with the show on 6 July in Venice – will reach Rome's Circo Massimo on 20 July, before continuing on 3 September at the Parco di Serravalle in Empoli, on 12 September at the Teatro Grande in Pompeii and on 18 September at Milan's Mind Live Theatre.
On stage, Bennato will retrace over fifty years of a career through a repertoire that has left a deep mark on Italian music. An artist who has always defied convention, he has managed to blend rock, blues, folk, punk and pop into a personal, unmistakable style, giving life to songs that captured the present with an often prophetic eye. His compositions, ironic and sharp, still retain a striking relevance today. Tickets are available on Ticketone and at authorised outlets.

The "Quando sarò grande" concerts promise to be a journey through the most celebrated songs of his discography, in a staging that combines the power of the band with the elegance of strings. A format designed to showcase a catalogue of songs that have become permanent fixtures in the history of Italian music.
The live dimension has always been central to Bennato's career. Among his most memorable feats remains the summer of 1980, when he performed in fifteen stadiums over the course of a single month, an unprecedented achievement for an Italian artist.
The tour's title echoes "Quando sarai grande", a track released in 1977 that closes the concept album "Puppet without strings". The song addresses the difficult passage from childhood to adulthood, reflecting on the loss of the spontaneity and freedom typical of children and criticising a society that often struggles to listen to younger generations. That spirit still defines Bennato today, an artist who has always championed his creative independence and rejected any form of conformism. "Quando sarò grande" thus also becomes a statement of intent: to keep looking at the world with curiosity, freedom and a critical spirit, without giving up the capacity to dream and question convention.
