The Weeknd kicked off the European leg of his monumental "After Hours Til Dawn Tour" in Copenhagen, the same show that will land at Milan's Stadio San Siro on July 24, 25 and 26. The tour has already surpassed a billion dollars in gross revenue and 7.5 million tickets sold, making it the most successful tour of all time for a male solo artist.
The show relies on a spectacular production: dominating the stage is a 12-meter-tall golden sculpture created by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, flanked by enormous golden ruins, lighting effects, lasers and flames. Compared to the 2023 tour, which stopped at Milan's Ippodromo La Maura with a set design inspired by an urban skyline, the new staging presents a monumental, post-apocalyptic landscape.
The setlist
The setlist, made up of more than forty songs, gives ample space to "Hurry Up Tomorrow", the album released in 2025, without skipping the major hits that have defined the Canadian artist's career. At the opening date in Copenhagen, Playboi Carti also joined him on stage to perform "Timeless" and "Rather Lie". Here's the setlist from The Weeknd's Copenhagen concert.
