Sanremo 2026: hits and misses one week before the end. Song results in the streaming, sales and radio charts

07-03-2026

A week after the conclusion of the controversial 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival, the last with Carlo Conti as artistic director before the handover to Stefano De Martino, another contest remains very much open: the one for streaming numbers, alongside sales and radio airplay. On the Ariston stage, victory went to Sal Da Vinci with "Per sempre sì", with a trail of controversy (some of it downright surreal) following in its wake, but a look at the Spotify data reveals a hierarchy that's partly different from the official ranking.

The five songs that made the final shortlist – besides the winning track, “Tu mi piaci tanto” by Sayf, there's “How annoying!” by Ditonellapiaga, “Magica favola” by Arisa and “Male necessario” penned by Fedez with Marco Masini – only partly overlap with the songs racking up the most streams online. Digital platforms are now one of the main indicators of the commercial fortunes of songs presented at the Sanremo Festival, and the numbers show which titles keep circulating most intensely after the event has ended.

Here are the artists who managed to come out on top in the streaming charts, and those who, a week on, still haven't managed to make an impact.

Streaming: winners and losers

Topping the charts a week after the curtain came down at the Ariston theatre is “Ossessione” by Samurai Jay, which has passed 7.6 million streams and stands as the most-played song among those in competition. Right behind it comes “Tu mi piaci tanto” by Sayf, past the seven-million mark, while the podium is rounded out by none other than the Festival's winner, Sal Da Vinci, with “Per sempre sì”, which has topped six million plays.

Solid numbers too for Ditonellapiaga (6.1 million), for “Male necessario” by Fedez and Marco Masini (5.4 million) and for “Labirinto” by Luchè (5 million), all past the five-million-stream mark. The middle of the table features artists from very different backgrounds: from the singer-songwriter pop of Tommaso Paradiso and Arisa to figures from the urban and indie scene like Nayt, Tredici Pietro and Dargen D'Amico.

But there are also those struggling more in this special post-Festival race. Last in the final Ariston ranking with his “Avvoltoi”, Eddie Brock isn't faring much better on streaming either, currently sitting 24th with 2 million plays – much the same story for the second-to-last artist in the Sanremo competition, Mara Sattei, who also stalls at around the two-million mark with “Le cose che non sai di me”.

There are also those who don't even reach two million. Further down the streaming charts sit Enrico Nigiotti (“Ogni volta che non so volare”), Leo Gassmann (“Naturale”), the duo Maria Antonietta and Colombre (“La felicità e basta”), and institutions of Italian song such as Raf (“Ora e per sempre”), Francesco Renga (“Il meglio di me”) and the divine Patty Pravo, who brings up the rear of this Sanremo Top 30 of streaming: her “Opera” has so far gathered “only” a million streams.

Time will tell whether these rankings will hold steady or whether some songs will manage to climb back up, perhaps helped along by live shows and further TV appearances.

The Fimi sales chart

For the sixth year running, the “Sanremo” Festival sweeps the entire top ten of the Fimi-Niq singles chart. A week after the 2026 edition wrapped up, the top ten is made up exclusively of tracks that passed through the Ariston stage. At the top is “Ossessione” by Samurai Jay, who finished seventeenth at the Festival; next come “Per sempre sì” by winner Sal Da Vinci and “Tu mi piaci tanto” by Sayf. The event's impact extends well beyond the podium: the top sixteen spots on the chart are all occupied by songs from the Big Artists competing, nineteen of the top twenty and twenty-eight of the top thirty.

Here's the Fimi-Niq singles top 10

  1. Samurai Jay – Ossessione
  2. Sal Da Vinci – Per sempre sì
  3. Sayf – Tu mi piaci tanto
  4. Ditonellapiaga – How annoying!
  5. Fedez & Masini – Male necessario
  6. Fulminacci – Stupida Sfortuna
  7. Lda & Aka 7even – Poesie clandestine

The most played tracks on radio

Alongside sales and streaming, there's still the radio airplay metric, tracked by EarOne. Here the balance depends mainly on the editorial choices of broadcasters. Once again, the Festival dominates the rankings: the top eight spots are held by songs that featured at “Sanremo”, twelve appear in the top twenty and thirty-two in the top fifty (alongside the thirty Big Artists, there's also Newcomers winner Nicolò Filippucci and semifinalists Blind, EL MA and Soniko).

Here are the top ten spots on the EarOne Italy chart

  1. Ditonellapiaga – How annoying!
  2. Fedez & Masini – Male necessario
  3. Tommaso Paradiso – I romantici
  4. Sayf – Tu mi piaci tanto
  5. Fulminacci – Stupida Sfortuna
  6. Sal Da Vinci – Per sempre sì
  7. J-Ax – Italy Starter Pack
  8. Samurai Jay – Ossessione
