03-03-2026

Just days after the close of the Sanremo Festival, Spotify has released new listening data tied to the 2026 edition. The official "Sanremo 2026" playlist turns out to be the most followed in the world by unique listeners and total streams.

As for the songs in competition, the most streamed on the platform is "Ossessione" by Samurai Jay. Despite finishing 17th in the Festival's final ranking, the single has already topped 5 million streams. Behind it come "Tu mi piaci tanto" by Sayf, "How annoying!" by Ditonellapiaga, then winner Sal Da Vinci's "Per sempre sì" and "Male necessario" by Fedez featuring Marco Masini.

Abroad, it's actually Sal Da Vinci who posts the most significant performance: over 10% of the streams for "Per sempre sì" come from outside Italy. Among European countries, listening figures are rising in Estonia (+28%) and Albania, where the most streamed Sanremo artist was Ermal Meta. Outside Europe, notable growth comes from South Korea (+30%), Saudi Arabia (+22%) and the United Arab Emirates (+14%).

There's also marked growth in monthly audience for the competing artists. Bambole Di Pezza recorded an increase of over 2000% in monthly unique listeners, Maria Antonietta surpassed 1900% and Colombre 1600%. Ditonellapiaga posted a +990%.

For the first time, the covers performed on the fourth night have been added to the official playlist: in this category, Ditonellapiaga and Tony Pitony lead with "The Lady Is A Tramp".

The demographic breakdown reveals clear segmentation: Samurai Jay dominates the 18-34 bracket, Ditonellapiaga tops the 35-44 range, while Sal Da Vinci is the most streamed among listeners over 45. Sayf is the only artist to appear in the top 5 across every age group.

Overall, according to Spotify, the competing artists recorded average growth of over 350%, surpassing the 2025 edition's figure (268%), while monthly unique listeners more than doubled (+101%).
