Rosalía's post from the ambulance: "I'm doing better, thank you Milan". Speculation over tickets and refunds after the interrupted concert

26-03-2026

Rosalía is doing better. After the early end to her concert at the Forum in Assago, caused by food poisoning, the Catalan artist reassured fans with an Instagram story showing her lying on a stretcher surrounded by paramedics, an IV drip in her arm and her thumb pointing up. “I'm feeling better – Rosalía writes in the story -. Thank you so much to everyone who was there for the love and understanding”. Below, the words “Thank you Milan” stand out, accompanied by a little heart.

As for the tickets and the cancelled concert, there has still been no official statement from the promoter, although a statement from Live Nation is expected shortly to clarify the situation. A refund seems unlikely, given that around an hour of the show did actually take place.

It's also hard to imagine the date being rescheduled: Rosalía's “Lux Tour” has a packed schedule through May 6, when the European leg wraps up, before resuming in the United States on June 4. On top of that, the Mediolanum Forum has limited availability, with an already particularly dense schedule of its own.

The interrupted show

From the very start, the evening at Forum di Assago had shown signs that something was off: the show began around 45 minutes late, there were unusually long pauses between songs, and the overall pacing was less smooth than usual for the show. Despite the difficulties, the singer-songwriter behind “Lux” tried to push through the performance. The situation, however, became untenable at the end of the second act.

After performing “Madrugada,” the Catalan singer went back to her dressing room for a few minutes before returning to update the audience on her condition. Nausea and vomiting, which the “Lux” heroine tried to ease by stepping offstage again to receive first aid from medical staff. Once back on stage, she asked fans for their understanding, explaining she was not able to continue, apologized, and asked them to leave the Forum in an orderly fashion.

Visibly shaken, the singer addressed the crowd with an apology: “I feel sick. I tried to keep going but I have to stop the show. I wanted you to have the best possible experience, this has never happened to me before. I pushed the show but I physically have to stop, I can't continue, I did my best.” The Catalan artist then added: “I'm so sorry, Milan, because I wanted the show to go all the way to the end. Let me see if I can recover and if they can do something for me.”

The show, structured in four acts, was called off exactly halfway through, after about fifty minutes.
