Piero Pelù announces the lineup for “S.O.S. Palestina2!”. Here are the artists taking part. Litfiba reunion this summer

31-03-2026

A year on from the first edition, “S.O.S. Palestina2!” returns to Florence, the charity concert promoted by Piero Pelù. The event is set for June 20, 2026 at the Anfiteatro delle Cascine Ernesto De Pascale, aiming to renew support for Doctors Without Borders.

The previous edition raised €83,000 for the organisation's activities in Palestine. The new event follows the same line, involving a wide network of artists from the Italian scene. Joining the names already announced — Enzo Iacchetti, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and Willie Peyote — are Fast Animals and Slow Kids, Moni Ovadia, Laika and Giancane, all of them taking part at Pelù's direct invitation.

In presenting the initiative, the Litfiba frontman reiterated his stance on the situation in Palestine, stressing the need for concrete mobilization and denouncing the political and military responsibilities behind the ongoing conflict.

The evening's proceeds, net of organisational costs, will once again be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières, the organisation founded in France in 1971 and now active in over 70 countries, providing emergency medical relief in conflict zones, epidemics and humanitarian crises.

On the production and communications side, the project also involves Zerocalcare, author of the official artwork, alongside outfits such as Le Nozze di Figaro (Alessandro Bellucci), Controradio, the Fondazione Accademia dei Perseveranti and the Teatrodante Carlo Monni in Campi Bisenzio, as well as Doc Servizi, Cooperativa Dieci, TEG and About.

Tickets are available on TicketOne: the purchase allows both attendance at the concert and, for those unable to be there, a direct contribution to the fundraiser.

The return to the Anfiteatro delle Cascine confirms continuity with the 2025 edition, which had seen Pelù himself on stage alongside Antonio Aiazzi and Gianni Maroccolo, joined by a broad, wide-ranging line-up running from Eva Poles to Roy Paci, all the way to Afterhours. And it's with Aiazzi and Maroccolo, as well as longtime guitarist Ghigo Renzulli, that Pelù will reunite this summer the classic lineup of Litfiba, a band that left its mark on the Italian rock and new wave scene throughout the '80s and '90s.

The reunion will become reality in the summer of 2026 with a celebratory tour marking the fortieth anniversary of "17 Re", the 1986 album that stands as one of the band's creative peaks. Twenty dates are planned across Italy, at some of the country's most important festivals and arenas.

The band has been off the scene since 2022, the year Piero Pelù and Ghigo Renzulli toured Italy with "L'ultimo girone", which was billed as the definitive end of the Litfiba experience.
