Lorenzo Cherubini aka Jovanotti closes out his long summer journey with two dates at Rome's Circo Massimo. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, "Jova al Massimo" takes the stage, the grand finale of "Jova Summer Party 2026 – L'Arca di Lorè", with a format that blends concert, DJ set, guests and a setlist bound to change over the course of the two days.
At Circo Massimo, the experience kicks off in the early afternoon. The area turns into an open space marked by music and encounters, with programming that precedes the evening concert. The DJ sets play a central role, conceived as standalone moments tied to the context of the venue. The gates of Circo Massimo will open at 3pm, while the show is set to begin at 4.30pm. The programme, however, will stretch over many hours, with Cherubini ready to step in even before the main set alongside his band.
The project is conceived as a journey crossing Italy before reaching the capital. From Sardinia to Abruzzo, then Puglia, Calabria, Campania and Sicily: seven cities chosen as structured stops, not mere stopovers. Rome represents the natural conclusion of the route. "I've waited for this weekend with my heart in my throat, and here we are. We start at 4pm and go on until midnight," Jovanotti wrote on social media on the eve of the Rome date. "Rome is the grand finale of a journey that began a lifetime ago, right around the corner from here. I've returned to my Ithaca, and before setting off again I want to enjoy it a little. Shall we dance?"
The programme for the two days in Rome
Numerous artists are involved across the two days. On Saturday 12 September, Benny Benassi, Frankie hi-nrg mc, Mobrici, BalQeis, Ayom, Matteo Alieno and TÄRA are announced, alongside the DJ live set from Fresco & Ali Selecta.
Sunday 13 September will instead be the turn of Afrojack, okgiorgio, Jack Savoretti, Gregotechno, Zara Colombo, Lumiero and Nicol, with a new DJ live set once again handled by Fresco & Ali Selecta. Other surprise guests are also expected on both days.
The concert setlist
As has already happened at previous stops of the "Jova Summer Party", Jovanotti's setlist is unlikely to follow a completely fixed structure. The show is in fact built through several segments, with afternoon appearances and a main set in which songs from different phases of his career are often stitched together through medleys, jams, covers and improvised variations.
Alongside the tracks that have defined his repertoire, there's also room for "Niuiorcherubini", the album released as a surprise last November and written in six days in New York. The record's creative process is documented in the special "Jovayork – La musica dell'anima", produced by Soleluna and aired on Sky Uno and Sky Documentaries.
Among the classics that could feature at Circo Massimo are "Penso positivo", "Gimme Five", "L'ombelico del mondo", "Ragazzo fortunato", "Ti porto via con me", "L'estate addosso", "Ciao mamma", "Il più grande spettacolo dopo il Big Bang", "Gli immortali" and "A te". At more recent dates, "Lo scimpanzé", taken from "Il corpo umano vol. 1", and "So solo che la vita", one of the tracks from "Niuiorcherubini", the record made in New York that accompanies Jovanotti's current artistic phase, have also made appearances.
The format remains the one developed over the years starting with "Jova Beach Party" and later transformed into "Jova Summer Party": more than a traditional concert, a long musical party in which the definitive setlist can take shape right there on stage.
