Godspeed You! Black Emperor on tour in Italy for three dates

Godspeed You! Black Emperor are returning to Italy in 2025 to present their new album “NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28,340 DEAD“. Just days before the album's release, the historic Canadian post-rock collective announced the dates of their European tour, which will include three Italian dates in March 2025.

Three years after their last visit to our country, the band will play on March 8th in Turin (OGR), March 10th in Vicenza (Teatro Comunale), and March 11th in Bologna (Estragon), treating Italian audiences to three consecutive nights of their intense, evocative sound.

The title of the Canadian band's new work, “NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28,340 DEAD”, refers to the terrible conflict unfolding in the Gaza Strip: 28,340 is the number of Palestinians killed from the start of the recent conflict up to February 13, 2024.

Having celebrated the dream of the collapse of American imperialism and economic lobbies on albums like “Luciferian Towers” and “G_d’s Pee AT STATE’S END!!“, the Montreal outfit now raises its voice over the tragedy of the heavy civilian death toll in Gaza.

Matching the album's most explicitly political title is also one of the most inspired and compelling sets by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, among the few musicians unafraid to voice strong, disturbing ideas, relying solely on the penetrating beauty of music, thereby even forgoing the use of words.
