Ditonellapiaga: watch the video for new single “Hollywood”. All the dates of the “Miss Italy” tour

02-04-2026

Just days ahead of the release of her new album “Miss Italy”, due out on April 10 via Bmg/Dischi Belli, Margherita Carducci, aka Ditonellapiaga, previews the project with a new single. It's called “Hollywood” and has been available on all digital platforms since Friday, April 3.

Built as a ballad – "the only one on the record", as the artist herself points out – for piano, voice and strings, "Hollywood" moves along melancholic, reflective lines. The song zeroes in on an obsessive love that, once unmasked, turns into an allegory for a distorted relationship with one's own ambitions. The desire for success thus becomes a process of personal alteration, to the point where it becomes hard to recognize oneself. The suspended flow is broken by a sudden burst of trip-hop beat and a tighter, more rap-like cadence, with clear echoes of certain '90s productions. The single comes with a video (see below), directed by the Frametank crew and produced by Mine Studio. The visual narrative follows Margherita through an ambiguous dimension, suspended between cinematic fiction and reality. The retro aesthetic, built on black-and-white contrasts and artificial sets, traces a path along which appearances gradually crack, revealing the weight of an identity shaped by the outside gaze.

“Hollywood” joins the previously released singles “Sì lo so” and “How annoying!” — the latter performed at the Sanremo Festival and certified gold — and will be part of “Miss Italy”. The album will be introduced through a series of in-store appearances in various Italian cities.
