Bad Bunny: the setlist for the concert at Milan's Ippodromo La Maura for the “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour”

16-07-2026

On Friday July 17 and Saturday July 18, Bad Bunny will headline one of the biggest music events of the Italian summer. Milan's Ippodromo La Maura will host two already sold-out shows drawing a combined 157,000 spectators, roughly 78,500 per night. It's an unprecedented milestone for a Spanish-language artist in Italy, confirming the extraordinary rise of Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, who has firmly established himself as one of the biggest stars in global music.
Bad Bunny's last Italian appearance dates back to 2019, but over these seven years his popularity has grown to staggering levels. While continuing to sing exclusively in Spanish and staying true to his Puerto Rican roots, the artist has managed to conquer charts worldwide, breaking down every language barrier.

A record-breaking tour

The road to this success has been marked by historic milestones. Back in 2020, "El Último Tour Del Mundo" became the first all-Spanish album to top the Billboard 200. Five years later, "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" further expanded his sonic universe, blending reggaeton and trap with salsa, música jíbara and Puerto Rican folk tradition. The album, which also reached number one in Italy, is the centerpiece of the new show.
The "Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour," launched on November 21 in Santo Domingo, comprises 57 shows and has already sold more than 2.5 million tickets. Rather than a simple string of hits, the show tells the story of Puerto Rico, its culture and its identity, tackling themes such as emigration, gentrification and the safeguarding of collective memory.
On stage, all of this takes shape in a nearly three-hour show divided into several chapters. The rhythmic explosions of perreo alternate with more intimate, nostalgic moments, with a full live band backing Bad Bunny through horns, percussion and arrangements that draw on salsa, setting the concert apart from the typical format of many urban productions built mainly on prerecorded backing tracks.

“La Casita”, between cultural symbol and controversy

The tour's most recognizable set piece is "La Casita," a reproduction of a traditional Puerto Rican house placed at the center of the crowd. With its roof turned into a second stage, its patio and its distinctive pink walls, the structure aims to evoke the atmosphere of neighborhood block parties and the artist's bond with his homeland.
The set piece has, however, ended up at the center of several controversies. On many tour stops, access to the house has been reserved mostly for celebrities, influencers and select guests, drawing criticism from those who see this choice as a contradiction of the message of inclusion and resistance to gentrification that "La Casita" is meant to represent.
Adding to this was the protest from the owner of the house in Humacao said to have inspired the set design. The man stated that he had only authorized the use of his house for a video, objecting to its subsequent reproduction on tour and to the ongoing pilgrimage of fans to his property.
Controversies aside, the concert retains strong symbolic value. Throughout his career, Bad Bunny has often used his fame to address issues such as gender-based violence, LGBTQ+ rights, discrimination and racism. Even his recent appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show turned Puerto Rican music and symbols into a statement of identity and cultural belonging.
