Afterhours: back on tour in 2027 to celebrate 25 years of “Quello che non c’è”

22-04-2026

Afterhours have announced a new tour in 2027, built around two key anniversaries: forty years since their debut, which took place in 1987 with the 7" single “My Bit Boy”, and twenty-five years since “Quello che non c'è” (2002), one of the most significant milestones in their discography and, more broadly, in Italian rock of the 2000s.

The tour, titled “Quello che non c'è – tour 2027”, comprises fifteen dates across Europe and Italy. It kicks off in Amsterdam, with subsequent stops planned in Brussels, London, Paris, Berlin and Zurich. The schedule will then continue in Italy with concerts in Nonantola, Brescia, Padua, Florence, Venaria Reale, Naples, Cesena and Rome, before wrapping up in Milan.

After the strong turnout for the tour dedicated to “Ballate per piccole iene”, which drew more than 100,000 fans in 2026, the band led by Manuel Agnelli returns to the stage with a now well-established lineup: alongside Agnelli himself (vocals and guitar), there's Andrea Viti on bass, Dario Ciffo on violin and guitar, Giorgio Prette on drums and Giacomo Rossetti as multi-instrumentalist.

This is how Manuel Agnelli described the 9 tracks of “Quello che non c'è” at the time: “We were tired of shouting anthemic choruses, of showing cynical irony towards the aspects of life that disgust us. Making light of things is part of Italian culture, but there's no more time for joking: we have to face the reality of things head-on. Today's world disgusts us and it needs to be said without too many smiles.”
