"I resti della festa" is available today on YouTube, the documentary film by Léa Ghyselinck that tells the story of the experience, the places and the people through which "L'amore non ha cuore" took shape, the recent album by Checco Curci, born during an artistic residency in Noci, Puglia, the singer-songwriter's hometown.

This isn't a piece of “content” built around an album, but rather a story marked by the deep bond between friendship, places and music.
The album – made with the production input of Francesco Piro and the artistic supervision of Riccardo Sinigallia – was in fact born in places that had long been shut, reopened thanks to the enthusiasm of shared work. The documentary film, directed by the French art director and multidisciplinary artist based in Milan, is a portrait of that suspended, unrepeatable time in which the meeting of different artistic sensibilities turns a solitary act, like writing, into a collective process. A story set in one of the many towns where forms of “communal life” still endure, something we feel an ever-growing need for.
If “L’amore non ha cuore” looks at love without indulgence, “I resti della festa” is its counter-shot: a space where the process itself becomes substance and finds meaning in the relationship with others. Two works born of the same urgency: to hold on, even just for an instant, to what normally slips away.
Among the hands assembling a resonating box or a drum kit, those of a seamstress tracing the path of thread on fabric, and those of musicians on their instruments, the short film captures in every frame something simple and real: the presence of people, the history of places, the passing of time. A work that goes beyond mere documentation to bring to light what usually remains invisible: waiting, silences, repeated gestures, tiredness, concentration, the intimacy that takes shape in the deepest connection. In a landscape where art is often reduced to a product, there persists an idea of moving where research still has room to breathe, where authenticity is preciously guarded, even when it's the harder path.
