Checco Curci is a singer-songwriter from Puglia, born and raised in Noci, in the province of Bari, who moved to Milan in 2005 to specialize in Urban Planning, a subject he now teaches at the city's Politecnico. Alongside this, Curci has developed an intriguing artistic path that began in his school years chasing the sirens of britpop, before evolving over the years into a thoroughly personal brand of singer-songwriting, intimate and introspective in tone. A first milestone came in 2023, with the release of his debut album “Anche solo per un saluto”, made under the artistic supervision of Riccardo Sinigallia, a name that is already a guarantee of quality in itself.

“L'amore non ha cuore”, his second project, arrives in January 2026: eight songs centred on disillusionment, probing the fragility and the consequences of love. It's a delicate work, sung almost under his breath, never raising its voice, a kind of instruction manual on emotional education, to be consulted in an attempt to understand love, learn to nurture it, and perhaps forgive its cruelties. That heartless love which drives one to despair also gives its title to an intense record, once again made with the contribution of Sinigallia and the production of Francesco Piro. Curci's storytelling sets out to explore life's small and large wounds, but without melodrama, favouring instead a refinement reinforced by arrangements built on piano textures and intricate guitar work, drawing on the lessons of Battiato and the Panelli-era Battisti, as neatly summed up in the extracted single, “Non si torna indietro”.
