Best Italian Album 2022: the winners

This time we put it to the readers. What was the best Italian album of 2022? And the result was surprisingly clear-cut: a wide margin of victory, in fact, for Campania-born composer Max Fuschetto and his "Rhythmic Non-Rhythmic", who outpaced by a fair distance opponents that looked formidable on paper, such as Verdena with "Volevo magia" and Manuel Agnelli, frontman of Afterhours, making his solo debut with "Ama il prossimo tuo come te stesso", who take up the other two spots on the podium.

Among the top ten, we also find the revelations Rhabdomantic Orchestra (the world jazz of "Almagre"), Messa (the esoteric doom of "Close"), Bebawinigi (the avant-rock of "Stupor") and Eugene (the electropop of "Seven Years In Space"), alongside already well-regarded names such as Nu Genea ("Bar Mediterraneo"), Edda ("Illusion") and Marlene Kuntz ("Karma Clima").
