Aphex Twin will release an expanded version of "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" via Warp on October 4th, the album that came out in 1994 and turns twenty this very year. The record is titled "Amelia" and will be released on August 30th. At the heart of the album lies the story of the tragic final flight of Amelia Earhart, the American aviator famous for being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic, who disappeared before completing her round-the-world flight in 1937.
David Gilmour – "Between Two Points"
"Between Two Points", the new track from David Gilmour featuring his daughter Romany on vocals and harp, is out now digitally, anticipating the highly awaited new album "Luck and Strange", due out September 6th via Sony Music. Anticipation is also building for his world tour, which will kick off in Italy with 6 dates at Rome's Circo Massimo (starting September 27th). "Between Two Points" is a little-known 1999 song by the Montgolfier Brothers, the only cover on the album.
