U2 - Songs Of Surrender

2023 (Island records / universal)
acoustic rock, folk-pop, pop-rock

Com’è ovvio che sia, alcuni episodi sono apparsi, già in sede di prima indagine, meglio predisposti all’obiettivo e non hanno avuto necessità di importanti stravolgimenti stilistici: hit come “One”, “With Or Without You”, “All I Want Is You”, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, “Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of” e “Peace On Earth” conservano, anche in questo frangente, quella presa empatica e magnetica già sprigionata nei raffinati mix originali, anche se il risultato finale appare alquanto trascurabile.
