Vasco Rossi: setlist for "Live 2026" tour finalized: "There are songs never performed live before"

19-01-2026

More than four months after the tour's official launch, anticipation for the live return of Vasco Rossi is already building. The rocker from Zocca has announced that he has finalized the setlist for "Live 2026" well in advance, confirming a meticulous plan that, as tradition dictates, will accompany the entire tour without variation from night to night.

The setlist

The announcement came via social media, with a photo from the recording studio alongside his longtime collaborators. "It's going to be a BOMB!" Vasco wrote on Instagram, promising "stunning, overwhelming and unimaginable" shows, with plenty of surprises including songs never performed live before, closing with what he calls "the perfect last song for the times we're living in."

The structure will be split into several clearly distinct sections: a first part heavily focused on the Eighties, packed with rarities and songs rarely played live, and a second, tighter and more powerful section, conceived as a "definitive" closing statement in tune with the present.

Right after the setlist is finalized, the job will pass into the hands of Vince Pastano, who will send the musicians the new arrangements to study ahead of rehearsals. For 2026 too, Blasco's headquarters should once again be set up at the Chromie in Castellaneta, Puglia, a venue that has become a symbolic fixture of his tour preparations. Rehearsals are scheduled for the second half of April.

Meanwhile, as always happens when Vasco teases news without giving away details, the usual guessing game over titles has kicked off on social media. Fans are hoping for the return of songs like "Alibi", "La nostra relazione" or "Vivere senza te", tracks that have been missing from the setlists for several years. One clue, however, has come straight from the singer: the 2026 Live show should make room for "Bolle di sapone", taken from "Cosa succede in città", a 1985 album recently reissued in a celebratory edition.

The Tour

On stage alongside Vasco will be a now well-established lineup: Pastano on musical direction and guitar, Stef Burns on guitar, Andrea Torresani on bass, Alberto Rocchetti on keyboards, Donald Renda on drums, Antonello D'Urso on acoustic guitar and programming, Roberta Montanari on backing vocals, with a horn section made up of Andrea Ferrario, Tiziano Bianchi and Roberto Solimando.

The opening date is set for Saturday 30 May at the Stadio Romeo Neri in Rimini, preceded the day before by the traditional soundcheck reserved for official fan club members. The tour proper will then kick off on 5 and 6 June in Ferrara, at the Parco Urbano G. Bassani, with the following dates to follow:

  • June 12 and 13 – Olbia – Arena
  • June 18 and 19 – Bari – Stadio San Nicola
  • June 23 and 24 – Ancona – Stadio Del Conero
  • June 28 and 29 – Udine – Bluenergy Stadium

Tickets

Tickets for the opening date have been available since Friday 26 September through the usual channels: vivaticket.com, ticketone.it and ticketmaster.it.

Alongside preparations for the tour, Vasco continues to use social media as a space for memory and personal storytelling, mixing previews of what's to come with memories of the past: he has recently recalled stories and pivotal songs from his career, from his relationship with Fabrizio De André to the backstory of iconic tracks like "Jenny è pazza" and "Albachiara." An ongoing dialogue with his audience that, once again, helps fuel anticipation for a tour already being billed as one of the most ambitious in years.
