Vasco Rossi has undergone minor back surgery, planned for some time, to resolve a nagging issue he'd been dealing with. The rocker from Zocca himself reassured fans about his condition, returning to social media after a brief absence.
The lumbar decompression procedure was carried out yesterday and was fully successful. Vasco is already back on his feet and, according to reports, should be discharged from the clinic by the end of the week, followed by a few days of recovery.

"I'm in the clinic to deal with an annoying backache that required minor surgery," the singer explained, putting to rest the questions raised by his unusually silent day on social media. So there's no cause for concern. Vasco even accompanied the update with his trademark irony: "The worst part is that I'll be a bit bored."
