Ulver have surprise-released a new single, titled “Ghost Entry”. The track, out on House of Mythology, is available digitally on the Norwegian band's Bandcamp page and also comes with a B-side, a rework courtesy of Autechre. Stream both tracks below.

“Ghost Entry” arrives three years after the Norwegian band's last album of original material, “Flowers Of Evil“, released in 2020 to mark their twenty-fifth anniversary, alongside an autobiographical book packed with interviews and photographs, “Wolves Evolve: The Ulver Story”. A fitting title, to say the least, for telling the story of a band that over the years has moved from the extreme metal of their early days to the synth-pop of their most recent phase, crowned by the splendid “The Assassination Of Julius Caesar” (2017), passing through the most disparate experiments and contaminations along the way, handling every transformation with inhuman ease and control.

Without revealing any details, Ulver have also announced that they have more material in the works for a new album.
