The week that has just ended confirms the gradual post-Sanremo 2026 shake-out: the songs that competed at the Ariston are still present in the charts, but they keep losing ground.
Three weeks after the end of the Festival, the Sanremo tracks are struggling to hold their grip, both on radio and streaming. Their presence remains widespread, but staying power is dropping fast, and the comparison with 2025 points to a broad-based downsizing.
Few titles are really holding up. On radio, Ditonellapiaga still dominates, followed by Sayf and Samurai Jay, while the winner Sal Da Vinci has already slipped out of the top 10. On the streaming front, the hierarchy shifts: Samurai Jay, Sayf and Sal Da Vinci himself lead the way, with Ditonellapiaga stuck just off the podium.
The only area where Sal Da Vinci keeps a clear edge is YouTube, with over 13 million views, a sizeable gap over everyone else. Even here, though, the comparison with 2025 remains unfavourable: back then more songs quickly broke through high thresholds, while today the spread is plain to see.
The aggregate data confirms the slowdown. On radio, Sanremo tracks in the airplay top 50 drop from 22 to 18; in the Italian top 50 the figure goes from 28 out of 29 to 26, with four songs already excluded from significant rotation.
At the top of the radio chart, Ditonellapiaga's run remains unchallenged. “Che fastidio!” holds firmly onto first place, buoyed by 554,407 points built on 8,376 radio plays, a steady increase compared to previous weeks. It's confirmation of consistent appreciation from broadcasters, both national and local, who keep rewarding the Roman artist's mix of pop irony and immediacy.
In streaming (Fimi) the decline is even more pronounced: tracks in the top 20 go from 18 to 13, while those in the top 100 drop from 28 to 22.
On YouTube, finally, only one track has passed 10 million views (compared to four in 2025), and as many as 12 have yet to reach one million.
A scenario that invites reflection on the Festival's ability to generate lasting hits.
