Sanremo 2026: Morgan withdraws from the competition, Chiello will perform alone. Bluvertigo tour dates announced

20-02-2026

Ahead of the cover-songs night at the Sanremo Festival, the program for the duet between Morgan and Chiello has changed. The Milanese artist announced that he will not take the Ariston stage on Friday, February 27th, as originally planned, for the performance of "Mi sono innamorato di te" by Luigi Tenco.

His involvement isn't entirely cancelled, though: Morgan will work behind the scenes, offering technical support for the performance. In a message posted on Instagram, he explained that he considers the song chosen by Chiello particularly intimate, the kind that calls for a single voice on stage. For this reason he decided not to share the stage, leaving the interpretation entirely to the competing singer.

Chiello's performance on the cover-songs night is therefore still confirmed, but without his colleague physically present on stage. During his performance, Chiello will be accompanied on stage by Saverio Cigarini on piano.

Meanwhile, after announcing the sold-out showfor the show scheduled for next on April 14 at the Alcatraz in Milan, Bluvertigo have announced the first dates of their tour planned for summer 2026.

Pre-sales are already open through the Vivaticket network at the following link:

The band's comeback is not being presented as a nostalgia trip, but as the start of a new phase. According to the press release, Bluvertigo intend to put back into circulation an imagery that, over time, has anticipated languages and influenced generations, reaffirming a vision that remains relevant today. This approach is also summed up by the concert poster, built on pixels, geometric shapes and stylised representations of noise: a mechanical aesthetic run through with the idea of humanity, where identity resists patterns and codes, and the heartbeat, reduced to an intermittent signal, keeps shining through beyond the system. A statement of intent made explicit by the slogan: "We're not content creators. We are signal disturbers".
