25-02-2026

Tonight, Wednesday 25 February, the 2026 Sanremo Festival enters its central phase with the second night. Carlo Conti, hosting the event for a second consecutive year, presents an episode featuring performances by fifteen Big artists, the head-to-head clashes between four Newcomers, and the presence, as co-hosts, of Achille Lauro, Pilar Fogliati and Lillo.

Outside the Teatro Ariston, two musical live links are scheduled: Bresh from the Suzuki Stage in Piazza Colombo and Max Pezzali from the Costa Toscana. As for the voting system, the Big artists' night will be judged by the Radio Jury and Televote, while for the young artists' section the Press, TV and Web Room Jury will also be added.

The night's line-up

Tonight, Wednesday 25 February 2026, only 15 of the 30 competing singers will perform, alongside the four Newcomers. Here is the list of the 15 Big artists in order of appearance:

The competition schedule

The second night sees fifteen artists from the Big category take the stage, each with their own competing song. The performances will be judged through a mixed system: 50% Radio Jury and 50% Televote.

At the end of the performances, a provisional ranking of the fifteen songs performed will be drawn up. The top five positions will be announced, without specifying the exact order of placement.

The Newcomers

A significant part of the evening is also devoted to the Newcomers. Four artists, accompanied on stage by Gianluca Gazzoli, go head-to-head in two direct clashes.

For the young artists' section, the voting system involves the Televote, the Press, TV and Web Room Jury, and the Radio Jury. The two most-voted acts, one for each clash, advance to the third night.

Co-hosts and outside links

Alongside Carlo Conti, the second night features Achille Lauro, Pilar Fogliati and Lillo as co-hosts.

The show extends beyond the Ariston with two off-site musical segments: Bresh performs from the Suzuki Stage in Piazza Colombo, while Max Pezzali joins via live link-up from the Costa Toscana, contributing to the evening's line-up.
