That day Radiohead were due to play at the Rough Trade East record shop in London for the release of the album “In Rainbows“. But the plan fell through because the massive turnout of fans and the media coverage of the event drew the attention of local authorities, who decided to cancel the entire production for safety reasons. The Oxford band thus had to find a suitable alternative venue that same evening. The gig ended up taking place at 93 Feet East, a club with a capacity of just a few hundred people, which luckily was available that night. The result was an electric, intimate performance that has now finally been unveiled in full.
