Lucio Corsi: debut album “Bestiario musicale” reissued. All the new tour dates

18-02-2026

"Bestiario musicale", the debut album by Lucio Corsi, first released in 2017, is now available again nine years on. The record will return to shops from March 21st, in a new edition that faithfully preserves its visionary imagination and original energy.

Originally released in a limited run, the album — made up of eight tracks — has become over time a sought-after and hard-to-find item. The reissue will be available on black vinyl, on signed and numbered yellow vinyl, and for the first time also on CD and signed CD. Signed copies can only be ordered through the Sugar Music website.

"Bestiario musicale" travels through the Maremma, the artist's home region, choosing the area's wild animals as its protagonists. Each track is dedicated to a different creature, turned into a symbol and a tool for reading the present. What emerges is a narrative that weaves together folklore, personal memory and imagination, with nature portrayed as a living organism, gradually eroded by urban expansion.

This is how Corsi recalls the making of the album: "In 2017 I wrote an album about eight wild animals typical of the Maremma, the ones that cross your path at night as you're walking home. I wanted to talk about something I knew well, a world that's silent but alive. Cities keep spreading like an oil slick, and with their tentacles they swallow up the surrounding fields, taking away space from the animals and their superpowers. It's well known that foxes can transform, that wild boars are a kind of meteorite of the Mediterranean scrub, that there's a hare on the moon, and that every hoopoe is a bridge between the world of the living and the world of shadows. If nowadays animals don't show off their magical powers, it's only for lack of space. I set up a small studio in the bedroom of the farmhouse where I grew up, and I recorded these eight songs with the window open, so the chorus of cicadas could come in during the day and the chorus of crickets at night. That's how Bestiario musicale was born. Nine very fast years later, we've reissued this album, even in CD format, to keep up with times gone by".

After the "Tour Europeo 2026", which saw him perform for the first time in clubs across major European cities, the singer-songwriter behind "Volevo essere un duro" will return to Italy in autumn with his first arena tour, "Lucio Corsi – Palasport 2026", produced by Magellano Concerts. Here are the announced dates:

  • November 27, 2026 – Florence, Nelson Mandela Forum
  • December 5, 2026 – Rome, Palazzo dello Sport
  • December 11, 2026 – Milan, Unipol Forum
