Luca Carboni announces seven new dates for the Rio Ari O summer tour

28-01-2026

Luca Carboni expands the calendar of his 2026 summer tour “Rio Ari O”, announcing seven new dates that add to the twelve already scheduled. The Bologna singer-songwriter shared the news himself on social media, confirming an itinerary that will take in festivals, amphitheatres and symbolic venues, from Genoa to Macerata, with the programme still being updated.

The new shows are set for 17 July in Modena, in Piazza Roma, 5 August in Alghero at the Anfiteatro Ivan Graziani, 9 August in Taormina at the Teatro Antico, 10 August in Palermo at the Teatro di Verdura, 18 August in Forte dei Marmi at Villa Bertelli, 21 August in Trani in Piazzale Santa Maria Colonna, and 4 September in Brescia in Piazza della Loggia.

The tour follows the first comeback shows, both sold out: in Milan last November and in Bologna last Saturday. The next indoor dates are scheduled for 12 March at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome and 19 and 20 April at the Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno.

On stage Carboni is backed by an eight-piece band and delivers a show built like a narrative that weaves together music, words and images. At its heart are the songs of a forty-year career, alternating moments of collective celebration with more intimate, acoustic passages.

Six years away from the stage, an illness that changes one's perspective, a comeback that carries the symbolic weight of a rebirth. When, some time ago, Luca Carboni was asked which song he would want to sing first were he ever to return to live performance, he didn't hesitate: “La Primavera”. And it was indeed from there that he started again at the Forum di Assago, in his first show after his cancer diagnosis and a long public silence. Since then, the Bologna singer-songwriter has gone back to performing on stages across Italy, once more embraced by fans around songs that have united several generations.
