Luciano Ligabue returns to the Arena di Verona tonight, Tuesday 22 September, for "La notte di certe notti", the final stop in the series of major events that has marked his 2026 and the prelude to a new leg of the tour taking in Italy's main indoor arenas.
After the one-off dates that defined the summer, the rocker from Correggio arrives in one of the venues most symbolic of his live history. Verona will be another "night" conceived as a standalone event, ahead of a schedule that will take Ligabue through to 24 October, when he plays his final concert of 2026 at Milan's Unipol Dome.
For this leg of the tour Ligabue has brought together on stage four guitarists who have spanned different eras of his career: Fede Poggipollini, Max Cottafavi, Mel Previte and Niccolò Bossini. Playing alongside them are Luciano Luisi on keyboards, Davide Pezzin on bass and Lenny Ligabue on drums.
The setlist for “La notte di certe notti”
On stage Ligabue delivers a set that spans more than thirty years of his career, from his earliest songs to the hits of the Nineties and 2000s, with a few less-usual selections thrown in: "Quando canterai la tua canzone", for instance, has returned to the setlist after a long absence.
Based on the Jesolo show, here is the likely setlist for Ligabue's concert at the Arena di Verona.
We're dancing on the world
Marlon Brando is always Marlon Brando
It's not our time
Little star with no sky
When you'll sing your song
You've always been there
A blow to the soul
The best is yet to come
You come and you go
The smell of sex
A midfielder's life
Has anyone by any chance seen my single-phase electric blue dog?
On my way
Something for you
No one belongs to anyone
This is my life
Screaming against the sky
Light
The one you're not
Your own way
Happy Hour
Between the stage and real life
Encore:
I “ragazzi” sono in giro
Certe notti
Non cambierei questa vita con nessun’altra
