Born in 2021 in a grimy, damp basement in Bologna's San Donato neighbourhood, the project Komarov Magnificent Backflip started making a name for itself through a relentless string of live shows, before releasing in 2023 a self-produced and self-distributed debut titled "Fingerblaster", eight tracks recorded in a rehearsal room facing a suburban Lidl, playing with garage-punk sounds while weaving in surf touches, synth-punk details, and detours into krautrock territory. In 2024 the quartet won the selection for La Zona D'Ombra, the contest run by Bronson Recordings, and in July of the following year recorded their sophomore effort "Cop Days", set for release in early May 2026, complete with a release party at the Covo Club.
Opening the show will be Milan's Bad Plug, an abrasive and tongue-in-cheek synth-punk band, and Cul Zag, a project born in 2018 in Glasgow's electronic underground and now based in Bologna, blending alien synths and a wild drum sound into a short-circuit of electro-punk, synthwave and assorted madness.
