It's finally time for new shows at Covo Club in Bologna. The historic venue on Viale Zagabria is warming up for the 2026/2027 season, and officially opening the dance floor will be a November gig from the promising Irossa.
The alternative sextet from Turin, formed in 2022 out of a bluegrass guitar course at Roberto Bovolenta's House Of Rock, joined the roster of Sugar Music in May of this year and has to its name the debut “Satura” (2024), the solid sophomore effort “La mia stella aggressiva si nasconde nelle virgole e nei punti” (2025), and its accompanying remix EP “Stelle aggressive si addormentano come cani in tempesta”. Alongside a sound with international reach, blending art-pop, indie-rock and post-punk shades in the vein of acts like Black Country, New Road, mary in the junkyard, Ugly, English Teacher and Westside Cowboy, the band places great emphasis on crafting its lyrics in Italian.
