Danish band Iceage, among the finest names in Europe's new post-punk wave, return with "Star", their first new track in five years. The single comes with a video directed by Thinh T. Petrus Nguyen. So far, the comeback has been announced alongside a single live date: August 14th at the Syd for Solen festival in Copenhagen.

After the release of "Seek Shelter" in 2021, itself the follow-up to 2018's "Beyondless", the band released the collection "Shake The Feeling: Outtakes & Rarities 2015–2021", a compilation built around material left over from the "Beyondless" sessions.
In the meantime, frontman Elias Rønnenfelt has pursued a solo path with two consecutive albums: “Heavy Glory” in 2024 and “Speak Daggers” the following year. In 2025 he also contributed to Dean Blunt's Ep “Lucre”.
Born out of Copenhagen's eccentric underground hotbed “New Way Of Danish Fuck You”, Elias Bender Rønnenfelt & co. have managed to refine their post-punk, as raw and brutal as it is expressive, weaving theatrical, pop, gothic and singer-songwriter influences into a multifaceted sound in constant flux, making them one of the most significant acts of the past decade.
