Nearly thirty years after their debut, Arab Strap have announced their new album “Half-Told Tales”, out September 4th via Rock Action Records. It's the ninth studio effort from the Scottish duo made up of Aidan Moffat and Malcolm Middleton. Alongside the announcement, the band has released the first single “You You You”, accompanied by an official video. The band themselves describe the track as a kind of collective invocation against contemporary disenchantment: a song written to remind us that, despite the climate of distrust, precariousness and alienation fuelled by economic crises, wars, media manipulation and personal hardship, there's still room for solidarity and hope. Described by the group as a “disco-metal spell”, “You You You” aims to turn that unease into shared energy, blending rhythm, irony and a longing for brotherhood.
Arab Strap have also announced a new European tour that will also touch down in Italy: the only confirmed Italian date is set for December 13th at Barezzi Festival in Parma.
