From the meeting of Manuel Agnelli, the GERMI-LdC collective and SIAE comes SUONI DAL FUTURO, a three-year project dedicated to Italy's new music scene, centered on creativity, copyright and live performance. The initiative was born with a clear goal: to support a new generation of songwriters and musicians through a concrete path built on stages, training and professional growth.
The project unfolds along two complementary lines. On one hand, GERMI-LdC in Milan, the cultural space founded by Manuel Agnelli, becomes a permanent scouting and training lab: with 5 evenings a month for 10 months a year, around 100 bands will perform in an ongoing program focused on originality, compositional quality and artistic identity. All the artists involved present original songs, helping to promote a culture of creativity.
On the other hand, the SUONI DAL FUTURO Live Tour, a touring showcase that will bring 12 selected music projects each year to clubs in eight Italian cities — Milan, Rome, Bologna, Naples, Palermo, Taranto, Pesaro and Turin — with a total of 96 shows split into two separate legs in spring and autumn. All the dates will be free admission, to foster direct encounters between artists and audiences in venues symbolic of live music.
The first leg of the 2026 tour will feature Dirty Noise, Dlemma, Grida, Kahlumet, Mars on Suicide and Wayloz. The tour kicks off on April 10 at GERMI – LdC in Milan and will stop at SPAZIOPORTO in Taranto, Urbica in Pesaro, I Candelai in Palermo, Auditorium Novecento in Naples, Wishlist Club in Rome and Il Covo in Bologna, wrapping up at Spazio 211 in Turin on May 30.
SUONI DAL FUTURO represents the evolution of a journey already underway. The project grows out of the earlier experience of Carne Fresca, the showcase launched in 2024 at GERMI – LdC, which gave a platform to numerous artists aged between 15 and 30, selected from thousands of applications submitted from across Italy. Around that experience a concrete network of opportunities and visibility has developed: from performances on stages such as the Trento Economics Festival, the Milano Film Fest and the Afterhours' "Ballate per Piccole Iene" tour, to dedicated media coverage and the "Leoni per Agnelli" show on Radio24. Meanwhile, thanks to the collaboration with independent label Woodworm and distribution by Universal Music Italy, a compilation of tracks has been released that has helped document and showcase this emerging new scene.
Today SUONI DAL FUTURO takes a further step: turning that experience into a structured national project, capable of connecting clubs, artists and audiences, and offering Italy's new music real places in which to grow, meet and be heard.
Overall, the project's annual impact is impressive:
96 total concerts
196 live performances
100 other live performances @ GERMI – LdC

«When my daughter started playing in a band, I went to see her several times in the most incredible places. She had told me about a new scene, but I expected to find a bunch of hyped-up kids flailing around aimlessly, with no substance, with the desperation and confusion typical of their age. Instead, I found a goldmine of talent. These kids really play well, real instruments, they sing without autotune and, above all, they write their own songs. They write about their problems and their insecurities, not to seem cool or better than everyone else, but to feel better about themselves, to try to live with their own unease, to have a language that helps them tell their story honestly and makes them feel part of other people and the world, without having to bend to the pressure of recent years that wants everyone to be gorgeous, flawless and effortlessly cool. After years of me, me, me, these kids are finally leading us back to a sense of community and sharing that seemed to have vanished. They don't play for success or fame, they don't want gold medallions, a Porsche or holidays in Dubai. They just want to feel less alone, less alienated, and find kindred spirits who, like them, don't understand this world and refuse to accept this reality. And then, more than anything, there's so much music and so much talent. We're trying to help them grow in freedom, without rushing the stages, letting them make mistakes, confront each other, start over, but above all, live the journey, not just the outcome. The most beautiful thing they're showing us is that we don't have to depend on the devil of numbers. We can exist in another way too. This generation will make it. No matter what. Because it's the first one that will be worse off than its parents, and because it needs to find an identity that's honest, after years of pretence. They have an extraordinary strength, they play anywhere and everywhere because that's their reason for living. They're a great opportunity for all of us. They're showing it to us and giving it to us as a gift. We don't want to lose it» Manuel Agnelli
