The centerpiece of the 2026 edition of C2C Festival is Robyn's show, the generational avant-pop icon who this year releases 'Sexistential' on Young, an album marking one of the most anticipated comebacks of the decade, 7 years after her last solo record.
There's also strong curiosity around the rare joint live appearance of Sweden's Yung Lean and Bladee, together for the first time in Italy. Among the most influential figures in the cloud rap scene, Yung Lean will share the stage with Bladee, co-founder and leading name of the Drain Gang collective, with whom he shares artistic and stylistic affinities that over more than a decade have redefined the boundaries between rap, electronic music and digital culture.
French producer Oklou makes her C2C Festival debut with a show following the widespread acclaim she earned last year with her album 'Choke Enough', which has already become a cult favorite thanks to a formula weaving together ethereal pop, Y2K references and baroque atmospheres.
The comebacks carry serious weight this year. First and foremost, Arca, who in just over a decade has helped define an entire musical era with an artistic path exploring body and identity, pursued with total freedom and
just as much stylistic consistency. Over ten years since her last appearance, Kelela also returns to C2C Festival, one of the most refined and visionary voices in the contemporary R&B landscape.
Fresh off a Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale Musica, Chuquimamani-Condori will be at C2C Festival with their DJ E project. Coming off a memorable show with brother Joshua Chuquimia Crampton as Los Thuthanaka, in this guise they take on DJing by combining sonic cacophony, surprising emotional vulnerability and a raw overabundance of textures.
Among the most anticipated live sets is that of BADBADNOTGOOD, the talented Canadian quartet exploring the most adventurous and hybrid sides of jazz, with collaborators of the caliber of Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean; and that of Chanel Beads, a project built around one of the key figures of New York's DIY scene, Shane Lavers, whose many facets are distilled into an intimate, psychotropic art pop.
The author of a beguiling, spectral brand of folk is Joanne Robertson, a Manchester-based musician, painter, poet and frequent collaborator of Dean Blunt, who last year released one of the most surprising records of the year, 'Blurrr'. Coming soon
is instead 'Kini', the new chapter in the field recording, noise and sound art research of KMRU, an artist born in Nairobi and based in Berlin, and a leading figure of the new ambient wave. After turning heads with a handful of singles over the past year, the third album from April Harper Grey, performing as underscores, is now on the horizon - one of the most recognizable voices in the hyperpop scene, whose path so far has developed along multifaceted and always unpredictable lines.
Finally, we find two emblematic names from the dance scene who, despite belonging to different contexts and generations, share a deep interest in music as a tool of identity: Crystallmess and Theo Parrish. Born Christelle Oyiri, Crystallmess is an artist, DJ and producer of Guadeloupean-Ivorian descent based in Paris, who through a cross-disciplinary practice explores underground histories of contemporary culture, media and identity, as evidenced by her most recent audio/visual work 'In a perpetual remix where is my song?', presented at Tate Modern.
Of legendary stature is Theo Parrish, the American genius who has left an indelible mark on the sound of Detroit house and stands as a spokesperson for Black music in all its forms. This year he is set to play an extended-length set, capable of showcasing the full breadth of his stylistic range and his extraordinary ability to build genuine sonic narratives.
