Peter Gabriel – “I Belong To The Sky”
Peter Gabriel has released a new song. It's called "I Belong To The Sky" and offers a first taste of "o/i", the album expected by the end of the year. The track was originally conceived during the sessions for "i/o", released in 2023, but has only now been completed. The British musician himself considers it special: "It's one of my favourite songs ever".
Charli XCX – “Wink Wink”
Less than a month before the release of the new album “Music, Fashion, Film“, due out on 24 July, Charli XCX has released the new single “Wink Wink”, accompanied by its official video.
Announced as a surprise just an hour before its release, the track arrives with a video directed by Aidan Zamiri. In the clip the British singer moves through countryside landscapes and scenes of everyday life: picking and eating strawberries in a field, cleaning large windows and walking across rooftops, all while singing about having left behind her "bad girl" image.

PJ Harvey – “Voyager”
PJ Harvey is back with new music and opens a new chapter in her artistic journey. The English singer-songwriter has released “Voyager”, a track inspired by the historic Voyager 1 and 2 probes launched by NASA in 1977, still travelling through interstellar space today. The release is accompanied by a video directed by physicist, TV science communicator and musician Brian Cox, who played a key role in the project's genesis. The song was already being developed as part of the material for PJ Harvey's forthcoming album when Cox asked her to contribute to his show "Emergence". That exchange gave rise to the idea of linking the track to the Voyager probes and the signals they send back to Earth.
Julia Holter – “Fantasy”
Two years after “Something In The Room She Moves“, Julia Holter has announced her new album “Materia”, out August 21 via Domino Recording Company. The record is presented as a companion piece to its predecessor and is preceded by the single “Fantasy”, already out alongside a video directed by Dicky Bahto. Speaking about the track, Holter revealed that it turned out to be the most complex piece of the whole project: “This song, which gives the impression of a carefree surrender, was actually the most laborious one on the album. It took over a year of work and countless transformations. I love that contradiction”. The artist described “Fantasy” as a danceable, almost dreamlike track, yet one shot through with a subtle tension: “Within the rush of the daydream there's the line ‘blink at the light and hope to survive’, because even daydreaming can be unsettling in a fascist State. I was looking for the right rhythm, bright but not naive”. Listen to “Fantasy” below.
Editors – “The Rush”
Editors are back with a new album. The band led by Tom Smith will release “Surface, Echo & Sound” on 30 October, the British outfit's eighth studio album and their first record since “EBM” in 2022. The announcement comes alongside the single “The Rush”, released together with a video shot in Tokyo and directed by Henry Ehara (see below).
Chelsea Wolfe – “Death Is Not The End”
Chelsea Wolfe will return to Italy at the end of the year for the sole Italian date of her new "The Dark World Tour 2026". The Californian singer-songwriter and musician will perform on Saturday 12 December at the Live Club in Trezzo sull'Adda, just outside Milan, joined by British multi-instrumentalist A. A. Williams as special guest.
The announcement comes alongside the release of new music. Wolfe has shared the single "Death Is Not The End", one of the first pieces of the project that will lead to her ninth studio album. The track features Robin Finck, longtime Nine Inch Nails guitarist, and drummer Matt Chamberlain. Together with "The Dark", released in recent weeks, it represents the first new material since the album "She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She".
