Born on a windy day in November 1983, a nomad since childhood, she's historically stateless but recently emigrated overseas. The Doors and Joplin opened the doors of musical perception for her, but a Kraftwerk-induced epiphany pushed her toward increasingly electronic shores. Unfortunately, for years she's suffered from chronic pop music addiction (with a particular fondness for the gayest songs), accompanied by an allergy to grunge and heavy metal. Always picky about indie rock, she periodically finds the "reconciliation" record. Forever afflicted with compulsive listening, she's (almost) stopped buying CDs to devote herself entirely to the cult of vinyl. Among her hundreds of passions, she loves the ukulele and the sociology of music, and among her desert island discs there's certainly something by Magnetic Fields and The Knife. In the future, she'll be one of these things, or more likely all of them at once:1) a pop star2) a successful lawyer who can afford every vinyl copy of her favorite albums3) the genius behind music 3.0She lives in the future of music, and works to bring it to Ondarock (what they call "business development" in the USA). In the meantime, she's the engine behind Ondarock's Facebook page, of which you absolutely must become a fan. Finally, she's a longtime user of the Ondarock forum, where she goes by the handle Uma.
